Grapes are hand-picked at night when it’s coller and the natural sugars are more stable, and predictable.
A blend of 92% Shiraz and 8% Tempranillo, with the grapes being fermented separately. The Shiraz, sourced from Frankland River, was barrel aged for 20 months before the final addition of a squirt of Tempranillo, from the Billâs Calgardup Vineyard in Margaret River.
Extended skin contact provide a robust, dark wine, with intense lingering flavours.
