Organic Wines

Organic is so much more than just not using fertiliser and pesticides. It is the overriding desire to work with nature, and not to fight against it. Quite simply; To encourage the right environment, rather than control or kill it! Many organic wine growers employ methods that stimulate symbiotic relationships with the vineyard. Companion planting, natural predator pest control. It is not unusual to see organic vineyards full of ducks and chickens doing the pest control at ground level, while ladybirds are munching their way through other baddies higher up! A spin-off is that many organic wines are also bio-dynamic and vegan.
