Making A Purchase

You must be over 18 years old or over to place an order with us. Please do not place an order unless there will be someone over 18 to sign for the delivery.

We accept card payments. We accept most major credit and debit cards. We do not charge for any item until it is ready to ship. Backordered items are not charged until they are shipped.

If you have made a mistake in your order and cannot correct it in the shopping cart, contact us and we will correct the mistake.

When confirmation of your order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable.

Pricing

All prices are in Pounds Stirling. The prices include UK Duty and VAT. Delivery charges are additional unless otherwise stated.

We reserve the right to alter prices without notice in the event of currency fluctuations, changes in the rate of duty, VAT or other taxes, or market conditions. We reserve the right to end any promotion or discount without notice.

We endeavour to ensure that all prices are accurate. In the event that a product is incorrectly priced we will contact you by email to ask if you wish to proceed with the order at the correct price or cancel the order. If we receive no reply within seven days we will cancel the order and notify you.

Shipping And Handling

Delivery Charges may vary with location, quantity and type of product ordered. Please select the items you wish to order and your delivery charge will be calculated during the checkout process.

Items on our website are only available for UK deliveries and are not available for export.

Delivery

We deliver throughout most of  the UK mainland for a flat charge of £8.50. Orders over £150 are sent free delivery. Deliveries to any of the following postcode prefixes incur additional charges; PO,AB,DD,FK,HS,KA,IV,KW,PA,PH,ZE,JE,GY. For delivery to postcodes BT or IM, and to Eire, please contact us for a quote.

Where an order can be supplied from stock we aim to despatch within three working days. All items are usually despatched using a next working day courier service although small or single items may be sent by first class recorded post.

No deliveries are left without a signature.

You agree that proof of delivery supplied by our delivery company is sufficient evidence to establish that goods have been received.

Age Verification

Our courier service reserve the right to ask for ID. If they are in any doubt as to the age of the recipient they will require ID. If ID cannot be provided and verified then they are not permitted to leave the goods.

Breakages

You are not obliged to sign for a damaged delivery and may turn it away. If you choose to keep a delivery containing damaged bottles you must inform us within two working days. To assist us, we suggest that you photograph your parcel at the time of delivery. We will rectify the problem as soon as possible. This may be by way of replacement or a credit, at our discretion. Please quote your order number in all correspondence.

Availability

If your item is not in stock, you will have the option to be notified when we have stock. If we have accepted an order and then an item is unexpectedly unavailable we reserve the right to offer an alternative. Alternatives will always be of a similar variety or style, and will always be of the same or higher value.

Security

When the order is placed at our website, credit card numbers are encrypted. They are not held in clear text anywhere.

We only use secure servers with secure sockets layer (SSL) technology for the transfer of credit card information. Our customer databases are also secure and restricted to internal use only.

Guarantee

We guarantee your satisfaction and will replace any goods deemed unsatisfactory. Any unsatisfactory goods must be returned to us, for replacement or a refund to be actioned by us.

Cana Import Ltd do not disclose buyers’ information to third parties other than when order details are processed as part of the order fulfilment. In this case, the third party will not disclose any of the details to any other third party.

Cookies are used on this website to keep track of the contents of your shopping basket, to store delivery addresses if the address book is used and to store your details if you select the ‘Remember Me’ Option. They are also used after you have logged on as part of that process. You can turn off cookies within your browser by going to ‘Tools | Internet Options | Privacy’ (in Internet Explorer) and selecting to block cookies. If you turn off cookies, you will be unable to place orders or benefit from the other features that use cookies. Data collected by this site is used to:

a. Take and fulfil customer orders.
b. Administer and enhance the site and service.
c. Only disclose information to third-parties for goods delivery purposes.

Returns Policy

Your rights to return goods are protected under the EU Distance Selling Directive.

You are entitled to cancel your order and return the goods within 7 working days for a full refund, excluding the cost of delivery. Do this by contacting us by email or telephone and quoting the order number supplied to you. Your refund will be paid within 30 days. You are responsible for the cost and risk of loss or damage when returning the goods, so you should take out enough postal insurance to cover their value. This cancellation policy does not affect your rights when we are at fault – for example, if goods are faulty or mis-represented.

Any goods returned should be in saleable condition.

These terms apply to your order. We may change our terms and conditions at any time, so please do not assume that the same terms will apply in the future.

None of these terms affect your legal rights and these are not diminished in any way. If any term is held to be invalid under any applicable statute or rule of law, that term is automatically omitted from the terms to minimum extent necessary to comply with the law and without affecting the validity or enforceability of the remainder.
