XV Pure Cabernets

A luscious dark red with purple hues. A lifted nose of vanilla, blackberry and red currant. The palate displays notes of spice and rich black fruits complemented with elegant oak. Perfectly balanced, with a firm, smooth tannin structure, and a long ripe fruit finish. Cabernet Sauvignon and Ruby Cabernet.

The vineyard is situated on the banks of the Murray River, and is of sandy soils, with excellent drainage, providing ideal conditions for growing high quality fruit. Separate parcels of the wine spent between 6 and 12 months in French oak barriques, after which they are re-blended together.
