Description
First bottling of recent vintage, and some bottles have a sediment. The sedimant is tartrate crystals, which is simply the natural acidity in the wine ‘throwing’ crystals under cooler than normal conditions. No detrimental effect of quality or flavour, but reduced to clear.
Bursting with juicy plums and berries – fantastic value Merlot. Deep colour, ripe plum and berry fruit aromas. Warm and supple on the palate with rich fruit and soft tannins. The wine has a silky texture with juicy upfront fruit and followed through with a good tannic backbone, black liquorice and berry fruit to finish.
