Two Weeks In

Well, we are two weeks into a version of lockdown.
Deliveries continue with us being careful to remind everyone to wipe bottles, get rid of the box, and wash their hands. It seems strange to us to put a delivery down, knock the door and take a few paces back. But it makes sense, it will work. We would normally hand a delivery to our customer, or even pop it in their kitchen while having a chat. So normal is now a new type of normal, which we must all embrace to defeat the virus.

The support and warm wishes we are receiving are very much appreciated. So many consumers are finding that they have great independent companies on their doorstep. Literally on their doorstep – with their deliveries. Butchers, Bakers, probably candle stick makers! Deliveries of groceries, eggs, milk, just like your Granny used to tell you about.

Every high street business used to have its own delivery bike, or van. We are working like that again. The difference is the interface… online is the way now.
